Preparation for Practice

  • Arrive well hydrated, which means drinking plenty of water during the day.
  • Do not eat full meal at least 2-3 hours before practice - the emptier your stomach, the more enjoyable your practice will be.
  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of class to allow the time to check in and relax. Classes start on time as published in the timetable.
  • Wear something comfortable, light and fitted. Avoid long thick pants and heavy t-shirts as we heat our room to approximately 28-30°C.
  • Turn your mobile phone off.
  • If you have injuries or pre-existing medical condition (e.g. epilepsy, hypertension, low blood pressure, heart condition, diabetes) make sure that you let the teacher know before the commencement of each practice. All practitioners must sign a medical and insurance waiver ahead of the first class.
  • Bring a change of clothing, a towel and a bottle of water
  • Please note: No shoes or bags in the yoga room. Valuables can be left securely in lockers.

Happy Disposition - Prepare to feel great!

Have in Mind

You may find the first practice difficult if you are new to yoga. You might even feel a bit dizzy and short of breath. However, if you persist, these symptoms will soon pass.

What will emerge is new strength and power.

We recommend practicing at least twice a week to create a solid physical base and an intellectual understanding of the practice.

Remember that consistency is the key!

Our Classes

Yoga Basics

A gentle 60 minute class is perfect for beginners as well as the more experienced yogis who wish to review the basics of yogasana.

Emphasis is placed on aligning and proper positioning. Modification of the poses offered to increase or decrease intensity.

Basic Flow

A 60 minute flowing practice of vinyasa yoga. One of Vinyasa yoga's outstanding features is that postures are not held for a long time. Postures are linked together by a succession of specific transitional movements that are as important as postures themselves. By integrating mind, body, breath and movement a practitioner will experience the real joy of yoga practice.

The class is ideal for an experienced yogi or a beginner who has a reasonable level of general health and who wants to tap in to the unlimited potential of the energetic field in the body.

Power Flow

A 75 - 90 minute flowing practice offering all of the benefits and features of the Basic Flow practice with an extra energy charge.

The practice produces heat, which is needed to burn toxins. Coming back to standing between postures has a flushing effect through the constant forward bending. Power vinyasa practice is a highly effective form of fitness that burns calories and sculpts the body whilst allowing the mind to calm itself through pranayama and focus. Level of fitness is required for this class.

Hatha Yoga

A 60 minute traditional Hatha class. Enjoy rejuvenating deep stretches; tone the muscles and clear the mind. Regroup and refresh.

We encourage all participants to practice at their own pace and to the level that they feel comfortable at.
