Benefits of Yoga

Yoga is available to everyone and every body. It is not just for flexible people, nor is the goal of yoga just to become flexible. Rather, flexibility is a by-product of regular practice.

People who practice yoga regularly 2-3 times per week report:

increased serenity, less stress, lower blood pressure and anxiety, increased cardiovascular and respiratory efficiency, and improved concentration and memory.

Not to mention added strength and vitality.

What They Say...

Yoga has been pivotal and trasformational in every aspect of my life. I have made a space for myself and my yoga practice every morning for fifteen years.

Sting (Singer)

I came to yoga as part of my rehabilitation process but quickly saw the benefit of an on going practice.

David James (England goalkeeper)

Yoga is a metaphor for life. You have to take it really slowly. You can't rush. You can't skip to the next position. You may find yourself in very humbling situations and you can't judge yourself. You just have to breathe, and let go.

Madonna (Singer)
